Biography
Emily Benaron is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a Yoga Therapist + Wellness Facilitator with over 20 years of teaching experience. She began practicing yoga in 1996 which sparked a deep interest in embodied wellness. Her unique teaching style blends the amazing tradition of yoga with modern movement science and is deeply influenced by mindfulness and self-compassion practices. Emily helps individuals explore and embody their personal growth and wellness by supporting the creation of a healthful and fulfilling lifestyle that is both intentional and enriching.
Emily obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara and is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Family Therapy. She is a Certified Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Facilitator. She has an E-RYT500 certification and is a Continuing Education Provider with the Yoga Alliance. She is also a Certified Yoga Therapist with International Association of Yoga Therapists.
